An accurate, true-to-scale reproduction of the actual aircraft, the model is great for collectors and features authentic, highly detailed graphics and markings. Originally marketed as the McDonnell Douglas MD-95 to replace the early DC-9's that were still in service, the Boeing 717 can seat up to 134 passengers and has an approximate flight range of 2,000 nautical miles. Due to increased competition from other aircraft manufacturers, only 156 Boeing 717s were produced between 1998-2006.
